Maintenance & restoration

  1. Modification
    FLM Panelcraft

Original DB6 saloon bodywork converted to Shooting Brake configuration by FLM Panelcraft of Broughton Street, London, incorporating a raised roofline, split-folding tailgate, and opening rear side windows.

Conversion was commissioned by the original Texan owner, Mr Farrish; one of only three such conversions carried out by FLM Panelcraft on the DB6, and the only left-hand-drive example.

  2. Restoration
    Spray Tec

Comprehensive restoration carried out over approximately 15 months at a specialist workshop in Wellingborough, England, following the car being found in a partially dismantled state in the Netherlands. The car was refinished in British racing green.

Work was commissioned by a French collector who had purchased the car after its discovery in the Netherlands. The restored car was subsequently advertised for sale in April 1990.

Are you the owner of this car?

This car's public record is built from its auction and competition history. Register your ownership and privately add your own records to make it a verified Legacy Metrics passport — provenance that backs your car's value at sale and gives your insurer evidence to price against. Roy reviews and verifies every registration personally.

Each chassis record is compiled from public auction archives and links to its source material. Ownership, competition and maintenance entries are extracted from those catalogue listings by an LLM, which can make mistakes — please contact us with any corrections. The summary is Legacy Metrics’ own writing; we do not reproduce catalogue text.

“Full” and “partial” documentation labels indicate how well each entry is corroborated in the underlying sources, not an audit of the car’s physical paperwork. Names of recent or living owners are withheld for privacy.
