1963 Vauxhall VX 4/90 Works Rally Car

A Vauxhall VX 4/90 FB saloon prepared as one of only three works-supported rally cars fielded by Vauxhall in the early 1960s. With an engine originally built by noted tuning specialist Bill Blydenstein, the car contested major international events including the Monte Carlo Rally, RAC Rally, Tulip Rally, Spa-Sofia-Liège, and the Rally of the Midnight Sun between 1963 and 1964. It subsequently passed to a former member of the works team and has maintained an active historic competition career spanning the 1990s and 2000s.
