A Springfield-built Rolls-Royce Phantom I fitted from new with coachwork by Brewster in the rare and celebrated Derby Tourer style, chassis S402MR is notable for retaining its original body throughout its entire life. Delivered in February 1930 to a New York heiress, it passed through a succession of American owners including prominent Oklahoma collector James Leake, in whose ownership it was photographed for the authoritative reference work Rolls-Royce in America. The car has been held in the same private collection since 1990.
