1931 Rolls-Royce Phantom II Continental

Rolls-Royce Phantom II Continental chassis 56GX carries the only fixed-head coupé body by H.J. Mulliner on a Continental chassis, built to the Weymann method for its first owner, Lieutenant Commander Geoffrey Duveen — son of art dealer Henry J. Duveen and a director of coachbuilders Freestone & Webb. After passing through several distinguished British owners in the 1930s, the car reached the United States in 1959 and has been with its current custodian since 1976. Restored in 1985, it is documented in three standard reference works on the Phantom II Continental.
