1947 Ford Sportsman
- Colour
- Pheasant Red

A 1947 Ford Sportsman convertible, one of only around 100 survivors from a production run of 2,274, built at Ford's Iron Mountain plant in Michigan with a wood-over-steel body of maple, birch, and mahogany. Conceived as a dealer 'halo car' under Henry Ford II, the Sportsman was produced for just two model years. This example is finished in Pheasant Red with a Maroon interior, retains all original woodwork including rare bird's-eye maple sections, and has covered fewer than 1,453 miles since a high-quality older restoration.

A comprehensive older restoration completed to a high standard; the car has accumulated fewer than 1,453 miles since the work was finished. Notably, all original wooden bodywork was preserved rather than replaced.
Retention of original wood, including rare bird's-eye maple sections, is cited as a distinguishing feature of this restoration.
